The mission As a Production Engineer at Epishine, you will be part of our Production Engineering team, working at the core of our manufacturing operations. Your role will combine hands-on production work, machine maintenance, and operator support with continuous improvement of our unique roll-to-roll process.
You will spend a significant part of your time close to the production line - operating equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring stable and efficient day-to-day performance. By being actively involved in the process, you will build a deep understanding of our production challenges, enabling you to identify and implement practical, user-friendly improvements that strengthen both quality and capacity over time.

Some of your tasks include:

Depending on your experience and interests, there is an opportunity to take on a more team-leading role over time. Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer who enjoys working close to production—supporting daily operations, working hands-on with equipment, and improving processes in practice. You are comfortable being on the shop floor, collaborating with operators, and helping keep production running smoothly. You likely have a relevant technical education and several years experience in a similar, technical role. You are used to troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and implementing practical improvements that make a difference in day-to-day operations. As a Junior R&D Engineer, you will support the development of our technology by working hands-on in both lab and production-related environments. In the beginning, your focus will be to learn how our materials behave in different settings - supporting experiments, fabricating devices, and helping evaluate their performance.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind process innovation and stabilization as we transition from development to high-volume production. Some of your responsibilities include:

Leading the conversion of R&D developments into production-ready processes, ensuring new materials, device designs, and process steps are translated into stable roll-to-roll operations with defined process windows and control strategies.


Industrializing concepts and pilot processes, moving from lab and pilot scale to full production through structured scale-up, risk mitigation, qualification, and ramp-up activities.


Acting as the technical bridge between R&D, production, and equipment suppliers, aligning experimental intent with industrial constraints such as uptime, yield, throughput, and maintainability.

The mission
As Senior R&D Engineer, your mission is to strengthen and accelerate our technology development by connecting deep technical understanding with practical implementation. You will work hands-on with our materials and processes to understand their behavior, identify limitations, and define what needs to be improved or rethought. The mission As a Production Engineer at Epishine, you will be part of our Production Engineering team where your mission will be to drive continuous improvements in production capacity and quality in our unique, roll-to-roll-based process. By working hands-on with our machines and actively participating in the production process, you will create a thorough understanding of the challenges we face. The mission As a Roll-to-roll Process Development Engineer at Epishine, your mission is to advance the critical production processes to deliver stable, scalable, high-yield manufacturing as we ramp toward volume production. You will lead hands-on improvements, integrate and commission new equipment, and turn promising ideas into reliable, repeatable reality.
Working in especially close collaboration with our brilliant development engineer Luis, you will complement existing competencies by taking ownership of process stabilization and new machine implementation. Develop and simplify production steps and equipment to reduce operator complexity and increase robustness.

The mission As a Production Engineer at Epishine, you will be part of our Production Engineering team where your mission will be to drive continuous improvements in production capacity and quality in our unique, roll-to-roll-based process. Drive implementation of manufacturing process optimizationsand simplifications, and bridge process improvements from our development organisation to our production organisation, highlighting end-user experience

Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer with a burninginterest in working hands-on to implement robust production processes, whilst also thriving from interacting with highly skilled development engineers. We believe that you have a relevant technical engineering education combined with around 5-10 years’ experience of working in a similar role. You have extensive hands-on experience of implementing new technical solutions in a manufacturing process, ensuring high capacity and quality as well as user friendliness. It is a strong plus if you have experience of working with roll-to-roll production processing machines, especially in a scale-up environment. Additionally, it is beneficial if you have experience in designing and developing industrial equipment and automation systems. It is also a plus if you have experience of working with PLC and CAD.
As a person, you are a smooth communicator with a good understanding of how to take complex, technical solutions and make them suitable for the end user of the process (in our case, operators). You enjoy working with people, and you might even have experience of working as a team lead, where your ability to drive projects to the finish line has had a positive, measurable impact on manufacturing processes. About MENTOR
MENTOR is a research initiative granted by the European Research Executive Agency. The project will provide a comprehensive and versatile technical platform for the development of next-generation indoor photovoltaics (IPVs) that efficiently re-use energy from artificial illumination to power electronics, eventually contributing to an energy- and climate-neutral future.
MENTOR aims to unlock the full potential of IPVs through the establishment of the first international network of 8 universities, 7 industrial partners, and 5 research centers. This network will establish an interdisciplinary, intersectoral, and global program of doctoral training and research that propels the development of new leaders capable of directing academic and industrial R&D on renewable energy, electronics, and sustainability through the successful implementation of 16 doctoral candidate individual projects. Project task and objectives
In the MENTOR program, two doctoral candidates will be working on projects facilitated by Epishine for 3 years, starting from March 2025. Whilst the candidates will be enrolled in a doctoral program at Tampere University, who will be awarding your doctorate degree once the research is complete, you will be based in Epishine’s office in Linköping, Sweden. The project also includes two planned secondments (duration period 3-4 months) within Europe during the project period.
Two PhD projects will be carried out in parallel with a significant amount of overlap and possibilities of collaboration between the two of them. The overarching aim of both projects is to further the understanding of underlaying phenomena in the photovoltaic components that determines their overall efficiency and operational stability. As the projects are set in an industrial environment, more emphasis will be placed on the problem statement rather than a deep dive into a particular scientific question. That said, it will be imperative to relate the work to the wider theory of organic photovoltaics which includes physics, electronics and material science.
The two projects, as stated above, will overlap to a certain degree. The first project will focus on understanding the degradation pathways primarily associated with the electron transport material in PV cells. The goal is to develop a mechanistic understanding of the failure processes, which may involve identifying diffusion or reaction phenomena caused by species—whether intentionally introduced or as contaminants—present in the system. This knowledge will then be applied to enhance the efficiency and stability of the PV cell.
The second project will focus on the dynamics of upscaling the deposition process for materials used in PV cells, with particular emphasis on the photoactive layer. Optimizing the morphology between the two semiconductors that make up the photoactive material is likely the most critical challenge in the field of OPV, as it establishes the fundamental conditions for charge generation and transport. The formation of this morphology involves a complex interplay of kinetics, thermodynamics, and the industrial constraints, requiring careful and sophisticated engineering.
For both projects a balance has to be struck between addressing the problem statement in terms of a solution to said problem as well as the theoretical framework surrounding the issue.
While there is ample support available from both direct supervisors and several OPV PhD holders within the technical team, the project remains highly individualized. We provide you with the project topic and problem statement, but the path forward is yours to define. Think of it as us giving you a map and a compass—it's your responsibility to chart the course and navigate the journey.
Who are we looking for?
For this project, we are looking for someone with a Master of Science in chemistry, physics or material science. If your educational background is not within these fields, please motivate how your education overlaps these fields. To be eligible for the MENTOR project, you must not have resided or carried out your main activity (work, studies, etc) in Sweden for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the recruitment. You must also be eligible to be enrolled into a Doctoral Program at Tampere University, and not have been awarded a doctoral degree previously.

The mission
As an Account Executive at Epishine, you will be responsible for managing and supporting existing accounts within the IoT and PropTech market segment, where we have several successful collaborations in place. Additionally, your mission will be to identify, approach and manage new customers within the segment. The mission
As our Marketing Specialist, you will be a key part of our Marketing & Sales team. Ditt uppdrag
Som Epishines Supply Chain Coordinator kommer din roll att vara att definiera, utveckla och förbättra våra supply chain processer och utföra de uppgifter som krävs inom operativa inköp, materialplanering, varumottagning, lagerhållning och leverans. Det innebär att du kommer att:
Placera, administrera och samordna inköpsordrar för att säkerställa tillgänglighet av råmaterial
Ta emot och registrera inkommande gods och transaktioner in och ut från lager och leverans
Förbereda, packa och administrera utgående order
Följa upp inkommande och utgående försändelser
Kommunicera med nyckelpersoner om problem som är relaterade till inkommande varor, såsom försenade eller felaktiga leveranser
Samarbeta nära med vår produktionskoordinator för att säkra en effektiv produktion

Du kommer också att arbeta kontinuerligt med att förbättra och optimera processerna inom supply chain. Du kommer att vara en del av vår Operations Function och rapportera till vår Operations Function Leader. Vem söker vi?

We are now in search of experienced sales professionals to join our growing team as an Account Executive. Your mission? To be the driving force behind our success by targeting, engaging, and nurturing relationships with customers on a global market in the segments of IoT, PropTech and Consumer Electronics. Right now, we are in discussions with some major global industry leaders, in which you will have a key role in ensuring long-term success.

Together with your brilliant colleagues in our Marketing & Sales team and our expert engineers, you will establish and implement account strategies, map key stakeholders and present to them the values that Epishine and our indoor solar cell brings. This role includes your areas of expertise within Account Management like; prospecting, handling customer quotes, conducting business discussions and sales contract negotiations, all the way to a finalised agreement. At Epishine, we believe that trust is the foundation of sustainable business, which is why you will work in close collaboration with your accounts and build long-term relations with them to understand their needs and create a joint success.

This role will take you an international adventure as you will travel to important meeting and events for around 60 days per year.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in strategic international account management and B2B sales, preferably of technical products. It is beneficial if you have a technical, educational background, but it's not a must - the most important thing is that it's an area that you are interested in.

To enjoy this role, you also need to be a secure, confident and trustworthy person with a technical interest and a natural capability to form long-term relationships with customers. You are a confident person who drives customer cases forward independently whilst turning to the team for support when necessary. As an Electronic Engineer at Epishine, you will be part of our Product Integration team which consists of engineers within mechanics and electronics. The team’s purpose is to help our customers transition to Light Energy Harvesting by working on the integration of Epishine’s indoor solar cells into customer products. Your mission in the team will be to coordinate and work on internal and customer projects, by acting as a technical advisor and doer within electronics. The role will require seeing the bigger picture while still handling design details. You should be prepared to work hands-on with electronics development, whilst also taking on a customer-facing, project coordinating role. As Epishine grows, the role will become more defined, and you will get to choose which direction you would like to go in.


The position offers varying tasks such as:

- Actively drive ongoing customer projects and act as a technical advisor to find optimal solutions for customer applications and design
- Collaborate and communicate internally to solve customer issues and improve processes

The mission

As an International Account Manager at Epishine, your mission will be to identify, approach and manage customers within IoT, PropTech, Facility Management and the sensor industry. Together with your colleagues in the Market & Sales team, you will establish and carry out account strategies, map key stakeholders and present to them the value that Epishine and our solar cell can bring. You will be part of establishing and drive a market that is still unknown to many of our target customers. Together with our expert engineers from Epishine’s Product Integration team, you will help our customers’ transition to light energy harvesting.

The work includes handling customer quotes, business discussions and sales contract negotiations, all the way to a finalised business contract. You will work in close cooperation with your accounts and build long-term relations with key stakeholders in order to understand the needs of your customers. To spread the word about light energy harvesting and Epishine, and to make important connections, you will attend fairs and conferences.

You will work with accounts both in Sweden and on an international market. The role will include national and international travel at around 50-80 days/year. You report directly to our VP of Market & Sales.

Who are we looking for?

For this role, we are looking for someone with a couple years of experience in B2B sales, preferably of technical solutions. It is also a plus if you have experience working with key account management or account-based selling.

The team’s purpose is to help our customers transition to Light Energy Harvesting by working on the integration of Epishine’s indoor solar cells into customer products. Your mission in the team will be to coordinate and work on internal and customer projects, by acting as a technical advisor and doer within electronics. The role will require seeing the bigger picture while still handling design details. You should be prepared to work hands-on with electronics development, whilst also taking on a customer-facing, project coordinating role. As Epishine grows, the role will become more defined, and you will get to choose which direction you would like to go in.


The position offers varying tasks such as:

Who are we looking for?

For this position, we are looking for engineers who have a relevant, technical education within electronics. You have a couple of years' experience working with low power electronics design and development. It is great if you have experience with customer relations, life cycle assessment, project management or software development, but it's not a must.

The assignment
Epishine is now looking for students that would like to carry out their diploma thesis work in our R&D lab. The work will be concentrated around experimental development of organic electronic materials. The over-arching aim is to improve photovoltaic cells performance and thus accelerate the transition of the global energy market towards zero emissions. Together we will custom tailor a specific topic that combines your skillset with our needs.

You are a student who is planning to do your thesis diploma work during spring of 2023. You have an educational background in engineering, physics, chemistry or similar, and you have a clear technical interest. You have a passion for sustainability and you want to make an impact.

The mission
As Team Leader within production, your main focus will be to coordinate the work in our manual post processing production. The post processing refers to the final steps in our production process before our solar cells are delivered to our customers, with a focus on quality control. As Team leader within post processing, you will be:
learning all steps within post processing to secure a good understanding and ability to train others
training, scheduling, and supervising of our operator pool, whilst maintaining a positive, motivating work atmosphere
being the point of contact for our extra workers, answering their questions and be responsible for the quality control of the modules
planning and leading the work proactively to ensure high efficiency
being responsible for solving problems or handle deviations to ensure that the daily operations are run smoothly

carry out continuous improvements of SOPs related to post processing

The role is to be on top of things related to post processing and act as a strong support to our Production and Operations Management. You will also collaborate closely with our Process Development Team as well as with R&D. You will report to our Operations Function Leader.

Vad kommer du att arbeta med?
Som maskinoperatör på Epishine kommer du att arbeta med produktionen av våra organiska solceller. Detta innebär att du kommer hantera rulle-till-rulle-produktion enligt standardrutiner i semi-automatiserade maskiner. Arbetet innehåller även förberedelse och städning av maskiner och verktyg samt felsökningar och underhåll av maskiner.
Du kommer också säkerställa att produkten lever upp till våra kvalitetskrav. Vissa administrativa uppgifter ingår, såsom digital dokumentation av kvalitetskontrollerna. Vidare kommer du också delta i utveckling av våra standardrutiner för att säkerställa god kvalitet och effektivitet. Sammanfattningsvis kommer ditt arbete vara av stor vikt för att Epishine ska ha möjlighet att växa och göra världen lite mer hållbar!
Produktionen finns i Linköping tillsammans med Epishines huvudkontor och labb och i rollen blir du del av företagets Operations Team. Du rapporterar till din Operations Team Leader som är ytterst ansvarig för arbetet.

Vad kommer du att arbeta med?
Som maskinoperatör på Epishine kommer du att arbeta med produktionen av våra organiska solceller. Detta innebär att du kommer hantera rulle-till-rulle-produktion enligt standardrutiner i semi-automatiserade maskiner. Arbetet innehåller även förberedelse och städning av maskiner och verktyg samt felsökningar och underhåll av maskiner.
Du kommer också säkerställa att produkten lever upp till våra kvalitetskrav. Vissa administrativa uppgifter ingår, såsom digital dokumentation av kvalitetskontrollerna. Vidare kommer du också delta i utveckling av våra standardrutiner för att säkerställa god kvalitet och effektivitet. Vad kommer du att arbeta med?
Som HR-ansvarig på Epishine kommer du jobba självständigt och vara go-to-personen för alla HR-frågor i organisationen. Du kommer till stor del att arbeta operativt genom att vara delaktig i rekryterings- och onboardingprocesser, arbeta med årliga lönekartläggningar, stötta våra medarbetare och teamledare, samtidigt som du säkerställer efterlevnad av arbetsrättsliga lagar, regler och kollektivavtal. Vidare kommer du att vara Epishines främsta kontaktperson gentemot företagshälsovård, fackförbund samt mot berörda myndigheter som Arbetsmiljöverket, Migrationsverket med flera.
Utöver det operativa HR-arbetet kommer du även att arbeta strategiskt genom att ta fram policies, arbetssätt och strategier som bidrar till Epishines framgång ur ett HR-perspektiv. Vad kommer du att arbeta med?
Som Linjeansvarig på Epishine kommer du att arbeta med den övergripande, dagliga koordineringen av vår postproduktion. Detta inkluderar upplärning, schemaläggning och stöttning av våra extrajobbare, samtidigt som du kommer att arbeta för att bibehålla ett positivt, motiverande arbetsklimat. Du kommer att vara kontaktpersonen för våra extrajobbare, besvara deras frågor och vara ansvarig för att kontrollera kvaliteten på moduler som produceras. Du kommer att lösa problem som uppstår i produktionen och hantera avvikelser för att säkerställa att det dagliga arbetet flyter på smidigt. Med din hjälp kommer arbetet att utföras på ett tryggt och säkert sätt utifrån arbetsmiljöregler. Administrativt arbete ingår i tjänsten.
Medan rollen är fokuserad på att koordinera arbetet för vår postproduktion så kommer du även att assistera i det manuella, operativa arbetet. Du kommer att klippa våra moduler så att de får rätt form samt utföra visuella inspektioner och prestationsmätningar med elektronisk utrustning för att säkerställa att produkten är av bra kvalitet. Medan du kommer att följa de processer och rutiner som finns så kommer du även att utveckla dessa för att ytterligare effektivisera arbetet. Slutligen kommer du också att ägna dig åt mer generella uppgifter såsom att städa och underhålla lokalen utifrån de dagliga behoven.
Du kommer tillhöra vårt Operations team och kommunicera på regelbunden basis med vår Operations Team Leader som är ytterst ansvarig för arbetet och för personalen.

The mission
As an International Account Manager at Epishine, your mission will be to identify, approach and partner with customers within IoT, PropTech, Facility Management and the sensor industry, and help them integrate our indoor solar cells in their products.
Together with your colleagues in the Market & Sales team, you will establish and carry out account strategies, participate in marketing efforts, map key stakeholders and present to them the value that Epishine and our indoor solar cells can bring. The work includes handling business discussions and sales contract negotiations, all the way to a finalised business contract. You will work in close cooperation with your accounts and build long-term relations with key stakeholders in order to understand the needs of your customers. Together with experts from Epishine’s Product Integration team, you will help our customers’ transition to light energy harvesting.
As you will work with accounts both in Sweden and on an international market, the role will include travels at around 50-80 days/year.


Who are we looking for?
You have a couple years of experience in B2B sales, preferably of technical solutions. In order to thrive in this role, you need to be a secure and trustworthy person with an interest for tech. You are able to learn about electronic applications in order to understand the needs of the customers and in order to collaborate with teams internally.
You are patient and have a long-term mindset when it comes to customer relationships. As there will be a lot of freedom in your work, you should feel comfortable with and have the motivation to initiate and plan your own work. As you will have close collaborations with stakeholders both internally and externally, it is also important that you are a communicative, humble and helpful team player who enjoys working with others.

The mission
??As a Field Application Engineer at Epishine, you will be project managing internal projects as well as customer projects by acting as a technical expert regarding electrical integration of our modules into our customers’ products. You will be part of Epishine’s Product Integration team consisting of 5 people and collaborate closely with our Market & Sales team and our Tech team in order to aid our customers’ transition to Light Energy Harvesting.

Vad kommer du att arbeta med?
Som processingenjör hos oss kommer du vara en del av vårt processutvecklingsteam. Ditt uppdrag innebär att förbättra vår produktionskapacitet och kvalitet i vår rulle-till-rulle-baserade process. Dina huvuduppgifter inkluderar design och konstruktion av verktyg och maskiner i syfte att skapa förutsättningar för kostnadseffektiv och storskalig produktion. Du kommer ta ansvar för omställningsprojekt och planera, genomföra och analysera processtester.
Vidare kommer du att följa driften av våra maskiner för att förstå källor för avvikelser och implementera nödvändiga lösningar. Du kommer koordinera åtgärder tillsammans med våra interna team, men också med externa leverantörer och andra produktionspartners. Du kommer att proaktivt söka och utvärdera nya produktionsteknologier för att säkerställa att vår produktion har en hög nivå av digitalisering och automation. Du kommer med andra ord vara en nyckelperson i Epishines fortsatta utveckling och framgång!
Vem söker vi?
Vi letar efter någon som vill växa tillsammans med oss på Epishine. Vi tror att du har relevant utbildning i kombination med ett intresse för teknik och mekanik. Du är en händig person med förmåga och erfarenhet av att materialisera idéer. Om du har erfarenhet av att arbeta med att utveckla produktionsprocesser är det meriterande, men inte ett krav. Som maskinoperatör hos oss kommer du att vara en del av Epishines Operations team, där du kommer arbeta med produktionen av våra organiska solceller. Detta innebär att du kommer hantera rulle-till-rulle-produktion enligt standardrutiner i semi-automatiserade maskiner. Arbetet innehåller även förberedelse och städning av maskiner och verktyg, samt felsökningar och underhåll av maskiner. Produktionen finns i Linköping tillsammans med Epishines huvudkontor och labb.
Du kommer också säkerställa att produkten lever upp till våra kvalitetskrav. Vissa administrativa uppgifter ingår också, såsom digital dokumentation av kvalitetskontroller. Vidare kommer du också delta i utveckling av våra standardrutiner för att säkerställa god kvalitet och effektivitet.

What will you be working with??
As our Communication Manager, you will be a key part of our Marketing & Sales team. You will work to strengthen Epishine’s product messaging and brand recognition through well-crafted content that you create and publish on our communication channels. You will be responsible for our external communication by establishing and executing our communication strategy for both digital and traditional media platforms.
You will identify trending topics and opportunities within key industries, media and in our target group in order to write topical and persuasive content that drives awareness of our brand and solutions. This means gathering information via interviews and own research about technical topics, and simplifying them into concise and compelling content. This will be used in various channels such as on our website, blog, newsletters, press releases, ads and in our social media.
Furthermore, you will be collaborating closely within the Marketing &?Sales team, as well as with our Business Development team. The role will also require collaboration with external partners such as customers and service suppliers. You will also be responsible for the coordination with various press- and media outlets, ensuring Epishine’s presence in the relevant channels and forums.
Who are we looking for??
We are looking for someone that loves copywriting and creating?targeted messages for different stakeholders. We believe that you have previous work life experience with messaging orchestration and content creation, both written as well as with basic graphic design. You have experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar. If you have a degree in communication it is beneficial, however not a must. It is also preferable if you have experience working with SEO.
You have a technical interest which will help you communicate the value of Epishine and our product. You have good English skills as all of our communication is conducted in English, and you will be working with colleagues and customers from all over the world.
Lastly, we believe you are a confident self-starter who is not afraid to show initiative and follow through on planned activities in a structured fashion. Dina arbetsuppgifter
I rollen som operatör kommer du som en del av produktionsteamet ansvara för tillverkningen av organiska solceller. Arbetet består av att köra och underhålla tryck- och konverteringsmaskiner i produktionen. Under processen är det ditt jobb att övervaka och granska materialen och maskinen för att identifiera avvikelser som kan uppstå. I arbetet ingår det ett kontinuerligt förbättringsarbete där du har stor möjlighet att påverka och bidra till utveckling. Arbetstiderna är förlaga enligt dagtid.
Din profil
Rollen som operatör på Epishine innebär dagligt samarbete och kommunikation med andra, så du bör vara flexibel och uppskatta att samarbeta med olika typer av människor då allt arbete i produktionen sker i teamanda och till stor del på engelska. För att passa i rollen är du självgående och ansvarsfull som person med egenskaper som noggrannhet, ödmjukhet och att du har en bra inställning. Den goda stämningen på företaget ser vi gärna att du bidrar till!
För att trivas i rollen och leva upp till förväntningarna ser vi att du är driven och lösningsorienterad med fokus på rutiner och processer samt uppskattar och tycker förbättringsarbete är utvecklande och roligt.
