What You´ll Do

As a manager you will lead teams of approx 15 software engineers. You and your team are responsible for developing software used in Test Automation and GSE (Generic Surveillance Equipment) to verify our Active Safety products.

The GSE is an in-house developed test equipment where you and your team will secure alignment of our test equipment roadmap for the end user e.g Test facility, Serial production and Quality analysis.

Test laboratory and to supply equipment to internal customers within Magna is another thing that falls under your responsibility. More than 170 test equipment system has been produced and you and your team will need to give them first class support.

As a manager you will lead, coach and support the team and employees to reach individual, project and company targets. This mean that you will lead and prioritize on a day-to day basis and secure resources for coming projects.

You will be part of the Application Engineering management team and contribute to the next generation Active Safety products integrating both hardware and software.

What You´ll Do and your responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer you will be designing, developing and maintaining mainly low-level embedded software used for early board bring-up and at a later stage during manufacturing. You will work with programming on a hardware board fresh from manufacturing site, and write and prepare low level software and drivers to setup different functions on the board. As a Test Automation Developer, you will work with design, development and testing using our test framework that runs on our test automation equipment Generic Surveillance equipment (GSE). You will do most programming in the script language LUA. The test scripts are used for environmental testing (DV/PV), production and analysis of our camera product. The system is a distributed system put together in a rack containing 9 boards. At Veoneer we work in a modern way with agile development and continuous integration.

You will work in a highly self-organized team that consist of 4-5 persons in Linköping. The team work spans from system design to release testing. Programming is mainly in the script language Lua but Phyton and C can also occur. You will work closely together with test engineers in the DV/PV lab and also with test architects that specifies customer projects requirements on the tests. The work can be divided into three major areas: Camera bring-up (control and monitoring of the camera), Test sequence automation and External equipment control.


What you'll bring:
To succeed in the position you should:

- Have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Have a great interest in developing robust code for test frameworks and how test can be automated

What you'll do:

We are now hiring a Design Lead within Vision Development, a newly formed organization within Veoneer at our Linköping office. The department is responsible for developing the next generation Vision platform and reference products integrating both hardware and software. Within Vision Development the teams are working cross-functionally based on Lean and Agile principles.

In your position as Design Lead you will be responsible for all the technical aspects of the products within Vision Development and have the overall responsibility for the product during its life-cycle, including making sure that the product meets all the internal and external stakeholder requirement. You will drive and coordinate technical discussions within the development organization and with related product areas, to secure a scalable, testable and integratable product architecture.

The Design Lead is responsible for technical planning and steering of releases, design reviews and design verification activities, and drives technical escalations within the product area. As Design Lead you are accountable for securing that all product deliverables are produced and available according to relevant processes and regulations. You also monitor high level adherence to technical plans and set key performance attributes throughout the product life-cycle.

You will work closely with our system and software architects and support them in their work, as well as take the lead in technical designs, investigations, and improvement workstreams.

In your position as Integration Lead you will ensure complete delivery by coordinating hardware and software release integration within Vision Development. What you'll do?
We work in 3 week sprints during which you could:

- Designing, training and evaluation of our deep neural networks
- Development of our deep learning framework in python
- Software development for target HW in C and for development tools in mainly python and C#
- Algorithm development within the area of signal and image processing
- Lead your own and the teams work forward, by exploring new ideas and experiment for the benefit of the product, the team and yourself
- Influencing the product and your work by giving input to the product backlog and by selecting your team’s tasks for upcoming sprints

- Strategical planning to ensure the Machine Learning Infrastructure meets the needs of the organization: technical, organizational and cost-wise. The strategical planning is done in co-operation with the Machine Learning Community.
- Responsibility for budget and purchase of Machine Learning Infrastructure specific hardware. Purchasing is done in co-operation with IT, Purchasing and Finance departments
- Support the IDO group, to ensure smooth daily operations and maintenance?of the Machine Learning Infrastructure.
- Improve collaboration and work for a good relationship with the global IT organization.
- Chair steering committee meeting for the Machine Learning Infrastructure
- Contact with hardware suppliers.
- Support the Machine Learning community with aspects relating to the Machine Learning Infrastructure.
- Support in recruitment of persons to the IDO-group.
- Pending on your competence, you may also participate in the daily work of the IDO group

What you'll do?
We are looking for an HR Manager partnering with our awesome HR team in Linköping and Sweden, being a part of an exciting and dynamic international environment.

In Linköping, where one of our global Development Centers is situated, you will coordinate the HR deliveries to the business at site, reporting to HR Country Manager just like your HR Team.

You will also work closely with our Business Leaders on-site in a consultative role around the whole HR spectrum, actively supporting our business both short and long term in areas such as Workforce Planning, Change Management, Team- and Performance Management.

We are Vision Core

At our technical center based in Linköping we are developing world class vision systems for several customers worldwide. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software, algorithms and in-vehicle testing.

We are now in an expansive phase and are starting up a collaboration with Qualcomm. Together we will deliver a full software stack and SoC platform for next generation ADAS, Collaborative and Autonomous Driving. We are looking for Computer Vision Developers who can strengthen our Core organization for ongoing and upcoming collaborative driving projects.

We work in cross functional agile teams consisting of 5-8 members developing functions into our Vision Products. While each team member contributes with their own skills and experience, the team cooperates to perform the different steps in development.

What you'll do?
We work in 3 week sprints during which you could:

- Influence the product and your own work by giving input to the product backlog and by selecting your teams tasks for upcoming sprints

- Interface with our customers

- Lead your own and the teams work forward, by exploring new ideas and experiment for the benefit of the product, the team and yourself

- Develop your and the organizations expertise within a certain technical domain via Communities of Practice, such as Test methodology, Functional Safety or System Architecture to mention a few

- Work in close cooperation with the developers in your team, developing our algorithms, deep neural networks and the framework around it

- Exercise and develop your communication and leadership skills

You will be working together with specialists in variety of technical domains in order to deliver one of our most central system functions, e.g. Vehicle, Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Lane and Road Boundary Detection, and Traffic Sign and Traffic Light Detection.
