What you'll do?
You will work with our vision electronic products used in cutting-edge driver assistance systems and autonomous driving cars. As a Senior Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for project specifications, requirement management, architecture, electronic design, implementation (schematics and layout), FMEA, functional safety, EMC, test, verification, documentation, trouble shouting, production preparation and support. Work tasks will shift slowly over time depending on project phase. A key building block of our electronics designs are cost efficiency in relation to functional safety. It is a merit if you have experience from requirement management, quality, functional safety (ISO26262), signal integrity, EMC and heat management.

You will work in a team of about 30 electronic colleagues in close cooperation with system, software, mechanic and optics engineers, project managers and production engineers. Our Linköping on-site labs contains state of the art equipment for electronics and optics R&D/verification as well as environmental testing and EMC.


What you'll bring:
In order to succeed in the role, we prefer that you have

- Master of Science or bachelor’s degree or equivalent within electronics engineering. Suitable educations are Elektroteknik, Electronic Design, Computer Science, applied physics or similar.
- Experience in electronic design work, schematics, layout, test and verification.
- Experience in electronic embedded design, electronic architecture and requirement management.
- It is a merit if you have experience and skills from production, production test, embedded systems, programming, optical systems, electronic quality, FMEA, functional safety (ISO26262) and safety critical automotive systems.

What you'll do?
We are now looking of an Indirect Purchaser that can take the responsibility for our indirect purchases at Veoneer Sweden AB. You will have the responsibility to take lead in negotiations of quotes from the initiation phase to ordering. Based on your sourcing of indirect material and services you will select suppliers that is best suited our business. To be able to accomplish this you develop strategically important suppliers, maintain supplier performances and contacts. Additionally, you will manage and act on risks related to the supply chain.

As our Indirect Purchaser you will also have an important role of developing, implementing and maintaining our processes, standards and systems for Veoneer’s purchasers of indirect material and services. This means that your will participate and working closely with our stakeholders not only in the budget process but also focus on being able to reach local spend and saving targets according to set goals.

You can be based at our manufacturing plant either in Vårgårda, or in our Tech Center office in Linköping, Stockholm or Gothenburg, here you will support and work closely with your colleagues in the global category teams. Your categories will be procurement of Professional Services, IT, Test & Labs and Travel.

You will work with all relevant work tasks around our vision electronic products, ranging from product definition to production support. What will you do?You will be responsible for development, specification and evaluation of optics within the camera- and vision system. You will analyze presented optics solutions theoretically as well as through measurements. As an optic expert you will also handle the support towards manufacturing.


You will have the opportunity to drive tasks from start to finish - from idea, through design and test, towards implementation in manufacturing. You will be a driving part in the development of methodology and processes within the optics department.

What will you bring?To succeed in this position, we anticipate you have a Masters Degree (or equivalent experience) within Engineering Physics or Electrical Engineering, meritorious is experience towards CMOS image sensors and Optoelectronics.


We also anticipate you have:


- Basic understanding of physics and optics, optronics, imaging system and optical measuring techniques

- Design experience of products that includes CMOS image sensors

- Design skills in 3D-vision systems, including tolerance analysis

- Experience of lens design, both laboratory and towards software optics design (Zemax or similar) is desirable

- Experience of image quality with respect to computer vision

- Understanding of optics/lens system’s impact on algorithms and functions

- Experience of Fault Tree Analysis and FMEA is desirable

What you'll do?
As a developer, you will work with the system, design, development and testing of our software for our Generic Surveillance equipment that are used for environmental testing, production and analysis of our camera product. Our software is targeted RTOS embedded environment. The system is a distributed system put together in a rack containing 9 boards. At Veoneer we work in a modern way with agile development and continuous integration.

You will work in a highly self organized team that consist of 6 persons in Linköping. The team needs to be expanded due high demand of environmental and production testing in Veoneer sites globally. The team work spans from system design to release testing. Programming is mainly in C and the script language Lua that we use to implement highly automated testing. We also do a lot of networking programming for interfacing our cameras and remote control of the system as well internal Communication.


What you'll bring:
To succeed in the position you should:

- Have a master of science degree or equivalent experience
- Have a great interest in developing automated test frameworks
- Have a great interest in and good knowledge of programming in C or LUA (depending on where in the system you want to work)
- Have experience in networking stacks like (CAN, ethernet, flexray) is also a plus
- Be fluent in English and preferably in Swedish

We prefer you to be an experienced software developer, but we are also open to graduates. You probably have experience of Continuous Integration, software testing, Python and Git. For those who are newly graduated, good study results are meritorious.

What you'll do?The Component Development Manager (CDM) has overall responsibility for selection and development of the components used in future Veoneer Products. Developments require collaboration with Purchasing and Quality organizations and successful developments achieve technical, timing, commericial, and quality objectives. The CDM is responsible for leading the cross-functional Component Team encompassing Component Program Managers (CPM), Component Technical Leaders and Component Engineers in implementation of the Component Development Process. The Component Development Manager is the single point of contact within Veoneer for the components falling under his/her responsibility. This person will be relied upon to foster communication and reliable information flow between the Supplier, the Application teams, and Management.


Some of your main responsabilities would be:

- The CDM shall be the leader of the component development team. This includes assignment of team member tasks and tracking these tasks to closure. The CDM shall ensure that the Component Development Process is followed.

- The CDM shall be the single point of contact within Veoneer regarding the component development, including globally interacting with other groups within Veoneer (Quality, Purchasing, Product Planning, Application Teams) to support product strategies related to Vision Components.

- The CDM shall develop component roadmaps fitting to Vision product roadmaps and communicate the same to his/her stakeholders.


- The CDM shall strive for development of component solutions that meet the business goals of Veoneer.

- The CDM shall continually strive to improve the development process and work closely with other CDM’s, Component Organization Management, Purchasing and Quality to make the process more efficient.


What you'll bring?- Have a Engineering Degree MS preferred, Electrical Engineer BSEE required
- 5-10 years minimum work experience, Automotive experience preferred
- Experience in Electronics Product Design (electronic circuit design/development) as well as circuit design based on mixed technology (analog and digital) as well as for automotive application
- Knowledge and experience with ASSP Automotive IC development is required

To succeed in this position we think you should have experience of Quality Management Systems, Circuit Development Process, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis and Functional Safety. We also like to see that you have knowledge of circuit analysis tools such as Mathcad and PSpice. Prefferd also is Vision, Camera and ECU product design knowledge.
