In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
To work within product development projects with the design and development of our next-generation radar sensors and systems.
To participate in all phases of the development process: from generating ideas, proof-of-concept and technology studies, planning, designing and testing, all the way to production ramp-up.
To maintain and improve our existing products on the market.
To improve and develop our design methods, tools and work procedures.
Give support and be the expert to other groups and departments on electrical subjects.

For This Role, You Will Need:
At least 7 years of experience in a design or product development position in electronics and experience in leading parts of a project or a group of engineers.
Have graduated from a University with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
Strong theoretical skills in math, circuit theory and electrical components.
Experience in creating and maintaining schematics and PCB layouts.
Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, since our business environment is international.
Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team.


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Communication skills in Swedish.
Experience in design for functional safety and or Hazardous environments/Intrinsic Safety.
Experience working with EMC testing and troubleshooting.
Experience in circuit simulation (SPICE and/or EM field simulation tools) as well as Signal/Power integrity.
Experience in using Cadence design tools.
Has worked with radar technology or other industrial measurement and automation equipment.

The Electrical and Microwave Engineering group encompasses all electrical and electronics aspects of engineering and development, from passive microwave structures such as antennas and waveguides to front-end modules, signal processing hardware on microcontroller boards, power supplies, and wired and wireless communication interfaces. The team is involved in the whole development process and requires extensive coordination with other groups and departments.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
To design, implement, maintain and improve our passive and/or active microwave solutions, radar frontends, waveguide structures, antennas and components for industrial instrumentation.
To develop new radar-level measurement applications and techniques.
To participate in all phases of the development process: from generating ideas, through proof-of-concept, planning, designing and testing, all the way to production ramp-up.
To improve and develop our design methods and work procedures.
To give support and expertise to other groups and departments on microwave and radar system subjects. This also includes innovation assessment as well as collaboration with industry partners, measurement institutes and academia.
To support on documentation for installation, solve application issues and help with technical questions in marketing.

Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Background in Physics, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering with a focus on high-frequency circuits, systems, and electromagnetic physics.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience in designing and developing microwave electronics or radar systems.
Expertise in creating wiring diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts.
Ability to set up and perform RF circuit and system measurements.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Proficiency in simulation tools like Microwave Office or HFSS.
Swedish language skills are a plus.
Technical interest, strong planning and prioritization skills, and good interpersonal skills.

Who You Are
The group Electrical and Microwave Engineering encompasses all electrical on electronics aspects of engineering and development. From passive microwave structures such as antennas and waveguides, through front-end modules, signal processing hardware on microcontroller boards, power supplies and communication interfaces, wired and wireless. The team is involved in the whole development process and requires a lot of co-ordination with other groups and departments. Succes factors for this role:
You have a university degree, such as a Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering or similar.
It is a requirement that you have experience in product development within electronics, design of PCBs and associated manufacturing processes.
Experience in team leading or in a managerial position will be considered a merit.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, since our business environment is international. Communication skills in Swedish is a merit.

Requirements

Description and Responsibilities
Right now, our Engineering & Development department is growing, and we are looking for you who are newly graduated and have a great interest in radar technology, signal processing, machine learning and embedded software development.
In your role as an embedded SW engineer, you will work with development of radar sensors intended for industrial applications. You will work with all aspects of embedded SW development, from requirements, concept and detail design to implementation and testing with a focus on signal processing algorithms.
The development teams follow a project throughout the project life cycle, from initial feasibility studies and first prototypes to customer launch.
We are organized in agile, cross-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is a part of our daily work. Requirements
Our New Grad Program welcomes you who recently graduated or have a maximum of one year work experience.
To thrive in this role, you need to be a team player who is communicative and likes to collaborate. We also value that you are eager to learn and want to take on new challenges. You are comfortable in an environment where you will be involved and challenged. You will get to combine your signal processing and programming knowledge with your problem solutions skills.
In this role we expect that you have a MSc/BSc in Electrical/Computer Engineering or similar with a signal processing/machine learning focus. It’s important that you feel confident to explain and communicate technical solutions in a clear and consistent way, in Swedish and English, written as well as spoken.

Ansvarsområden
Inom Embedded Software Engineering utvecklar vi mjukvara för radarsensorer vars primära funktion är att med mycket hög noggrannhet mäta avstånd till olika objekt. Mjukvaran täcker ett stort spann av funktionalitet, från hårdvarunära programmering och signalbehandling till implementation av både trådade och trådlösa kommunikationsprotokoll.
Arbetsuppgifter kommer att anpassas efter din kunskap och erfarenhet. Exempel på uppgifter kan vara testning av radarsensorer, utvärdering av algoritmer, tillägg av funktionalitet i de verktyg vi använder i vårt utvecklingsarbete.
Sommarjobbet kommer ge insikt i radarteknik, test av radarsensorer, mjukvaruutveckling och automatiserade testutveckling.

Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig som läser en utbildning på högskola/universitetsnivå och har ett intresse för mjukvaruutveckling och signalbehandling. Vi vill att du minst har avslutat år två. Som person är du nyfiken, har lätt för att lära nya saker och gillar att utmanas genom många olika typer av uppdrag och uppgifter.
Du har goda kommunikationsegenskaper, är bra på att bygga relationer och trivs med att arbeta i en mångfasetterad organisation.
Dina datorkunskaper är goda och du behärskar svenska i tal och skrift liksom engelska som är vårt koncernspråk.
Det är meriterande om du har kunskap inom några av följande programspråk C/C++/Python/C#.
