Faurecia Creo AB is looking for a Signal Processing Engineer for its R&D Center based in Linköping or Göteborg.
Faurecia Creo AB is part of Forvia Faurecia, a technology leader in the automotive industry. Faurecia Creo develop Active Noise Control solutions for the reduction of engine and road noise in the cockpit as a part of Faurecia cockpit experience product line. You will integrate an agile team of acoustic, signal processing and software engineers and will be working with the design of innovative embedded software for Europe and the rest of the world.
As a Signal Processing Engineer you will be responsible for implementing audio and active noise control software for Infotainment and quiet mobility products.
You'll work on challenges that matter
Development and simulation of new algorithms
Understand how the algorithm to implement works
Carry out this implementation in C or C++ on an embedded platform by integrating into the current framework
Validate the implementation using the algorithms under Matlab as a referene
Optimize performance and computational costs
Document algorithms and test results
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in firmware development using C and C++
At least 2-4 years of experience in signal processing algorithm development activities
Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink
Mastery of C/C++/Python
Low-level programming experience on multiple platforms
Fixed-point coding experience
Mastery of a development environment under Linux (Git, cmake, gcc, gdb, etc.)
Specific signal processing knowledge: Design and analysis of digital filters (FIR, IIR),Fourier analysis,
Z transform, Estimation, adaptive filtering (LMS, Kalman, …)
Specific knowledge in audio (echo cancellation, noise reduction,...)
Rigor, autonomy, curiosity, analytical mind, good communication, teamwork
Fluent English, Swedish a plus
